Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer

FastTek Global is seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and optimizing our manufacturing and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Utilize engineering methods to design and optimize processes, including mathematical models, simulation, and statistics.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful productivity metrics and KPIs for our automotive warehousing environment.
  • Lead projects to close gaps to industry benchmarks and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
Requirements:
  • Four-Year College Degree in Engineering, Materials Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing or warehousing environment.
  • Labor Management background/experience required.
  • Strong ability to analyze and improve overall material flow process.
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement techniques (Lean, TPM, Kaizen).
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to project manage and deliver results in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP Warehouse Management experience (or similar ERP warehousing management application).
  • Spanish language required.
