About the Role

Ecco Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including appliance repairs and maintenance of common areas.
  • Prepare apartments for new residents by completing the 'make-ready' and 'furnishing' process.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, amenities, exterior buildings, and parking areas.
  • Assist with vendor management and other duties as required.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and apartments to ensure they are in good working order.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in apartment maintenance is required.
  • 1+ years of high-rise residential experience is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in inventory management and tracking, as well as cost-effective purchasing.
  • Previous experience with painting, drywall, entry-level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing and electrical, as well as furniture assembly and logistics.
  • High level of professionalism in both manner and dress.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in project and property management tools, such as Appfolio.
