Job Overview

Position Objective: The Logistics Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the flow of goods and materials, ensuring efficient handling of inventory in accordance with purchase orders and shipping timelines. Key responsibilities include preparing shipments, managing incoming stock, and ensuring proper labeling of all parcels.


Main Responsibilities

  1. Safely gathering products from designated storage areas and transporting them to the shipping zone.
  2. Receiving and accurately documenting incoming products for distribution or return.
  3. Maintaining a comprehensive inventory of all items moving in and out of the warehouse.
  4. Conducting inspections to verify incoming shipments against invoices or other relevant documents.
  5. Identifying and reporting any discrepancies, including missing or damaged items, to the supervisor.
  6. Ensuring all products are securely packaged and labeled for shipment.
  7. Handling all inventory with the utmost care and attention.
  8. Utilizing scanning technology to confirm that products are dispatched to the correct locations.
  9. Adhering to space optimization strategies for loading shipments in various transport vehicles.
  10. Preparing necessary shipping and receiving documentation, including packing lists and bills of lading.
  11. Maintaining an organized internal record-keeping system.
  12. Transporting products to designated storage areas using provided mobile equipment.
  13. Committing to a safety-first approach while applying lean manufacturing principles.
  14. Performing additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and warehouse operations.
  • Proficient computer skills and strong written communication abilities in English.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to lift and handle weights up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Proficient in using full range of arm motion for various tasks.
