Job Title: Court Operations Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Court Operations Specialist to join our team at Fulton County, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the probate court, including filing, collection, and recording of legal documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filing, collection, and recording of legal documents, including pleadings, licenses, permits, wills, and other various documents processed through the court system.
  • Providing procedural guidance to members of the public and attorneys.
  • Entering data from court documents into the court case management system.
  • Calendaring court hearings, responding to court orders, and other relevant documents regarding the court system.
  • Performing general clerical functions, including answering phones, opening mail, and responding to inquiries.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in legal or court-related field; experience in probate or licensing agency a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word or other word processing software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions: This position is typically performed in an office-like environment. May work in high conflict situations and with difficult, sometimes dangerous parties.
