Bristol Bay Native is seeking a Grants Management Specialist to support essential operations, providing a comprehensive range of administrative and operational services vital for various components. A Public Trust level clearance is required for this position.
- Assisting in the formulation and distribution of funding announcements.
- Offering expert advice and insights on grants, cooperative agreements, and cost-sharing arrangements.
- Supporting all phases of the award process, including pre-award, award, and post-award activities such as acquisition planning, source selection, technical assistance, and management of grants and cooperative agreements.
- Facilitating the development of pre-award documentation including statements of work, objectives, and conducting market analysis for grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts as needed.
- Interpreting and applying Federal (OMB) and Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines for federal assistance mechanisms and contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with Federal, DoD regulations, and local directives.
Pre-award Support Services
- Evaluating acquisition packages to provide recommendations for FAR-compliant acquisitions.
- Assisting in the creation of market research, Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE), and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
- Recommending FAR-compliant acquisition strategies based on market analysis.
- Helping in the preparation of pre-award file documents for review and approval.
Award Support
- Conducting administrative evaluations of proposals and quotes.
- Performing price and cost assessments.
- Assisting in the preparation of award documentation such as Price Reasonableness and Basis of Award memorandums.
Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree is mandatory
