Position Overview

Restaurant Associates is actively seeking dedicated individuals for the role of FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER. This position is available for both full-time and part-time schedules.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Performing cashier duties alongside general food service tasks.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and dining areas.
  • Engaging with customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Handling food items with care, including preparation and serving.
  • Executing sales transactions accurately and responsibly.

Essential Duties

As a FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER, your duties will include:

  • Preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
  • Weighing and measuring food items as per recipes.
  • Transporting food items safely between workstations and storage areas.
  • Ensuring food is stored correctly following safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Accurately processing sales and managing cash transactions.

Qualifications

While prior experience in food service is preferred, we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
