Position Overview
Express is looking for a Retail Sales Associate.

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional in-store shopping experience for our customers while also assisting with various tasks such as restocking, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure a tidy and organized sales floor, checkout area, fitting rooms, and stockroom to create a safe and welcoming environment for customers.

- Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain the safety of all associates and customers.

- Assist with product launches and changes in accordance with company standard operating procedures.

- Provide an Outstanding Customer Experience.

- Execute all aspects of the customer experience model effectively.

- Process transactions swiftly and accurately to minimize customer wait times.

- Address and resolve customer service-related issues promptly, escalating when necessary, and communicate all resolutions to Store Management.

- Promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.

- Perform other essential duties as directed by your supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience:
0-2 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 6 months preferred.
Proficient in technology usage (iPad, registers).
Availability to work nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
Meets physical requirements.
Critical Skills & Attributes
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers and team members.
- Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team.
