Toxicology Medical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Toxicology Medical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing and evaluating laboratory tests, monitoring workflow, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and evaluate laboratory tests, including toxicology and other specialized tests, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Monitor workflow and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion of work.
- Provide technical assistance and training to laboratory staff, including medical laboratory technicians and phlebotomists.
- Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure seamless operation of laboratory services.
- Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or equivalent certification.
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
