Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting exposure factors.
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Prepare and maintain records, including patient and study information, and document billing codes.
  • Assist and consult with radiologists, and perform various patient positioning and transporting duties.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Requirements:
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
