Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Granville Health System. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and engineering repairs to hospital-owned buildings and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of hospital equipment and buildings to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and medical gas systems.
- Take the lead in times of director's absence and provide guidance to junior staff members.
- Develop and implement executive preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and extend lifespan.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.
Requirements:
- High school graduate with general maintenance and plant operation abilities.
- Trade school certificate beyond high school.
- Minimum four years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work, with a focus on commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Gas-fired boiler operations and experience with gas-fired steam generating boilers.
- Ability to take lead in times of directors absence.
