Job Description

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.
  • Work with the plant Maintenance Supervisor/ and Lead Mechanic in determining daily and weekly Maintenance Mechanic work.
  • Perform visual inspections of maintenance jobs in progress and upon completion to ensure that quality standards are being met.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication on production machinery and other plant equipment and facilities in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
  • Repair broken or defective equipment as scheduled.
  • Assist production personnel with mechanical, electrical or other operational problems with any plant equipment.
  • Assist in performance of emergency maintenance work on a rush basis when production is adversely affected or directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Attend training programs or sessions to improve level of knowledge and skills consistent with the other job requirements.
  • Keep work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all possible times.
  • Wear and maintain in good condition all personal safety devices required and work in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
