Key Responsibilities:
The Research Scientist will independently design and implement plate-based assays to support the development and evaluation of both autologous and allogenic cell therapies, particularly those involved in clinical trials, including CAR T cell products.
This role involves the design and analysis of experiments with some oversight, aimed at establishing robust analytical methodologies.
The Scientist will be responsible for creating impactful methods, including quality control techniques for lot release testing, as well as characterization methods that facilitate process development and comparability assessments.
These methodologies will enhance the understanding of cell therapies, support the advancement of manufacturing processes, and ensure quality control for drug product release.
The Scientist will possess hands-on expertise in ligand binding and antibody assay development, and will engage in projects that require close collaboration with various teams, including discovery research, product sciences, process development, and quality control.
A passion for developing innovative therapies, the ability to thrive in a challenging intellectual environment, and a collaborative spirit with fellow scientists are essential for success in this role.
Education:
PhD in Biology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, or a related discipline.
Experience:
PhD with over 1 year of relevant industry experience.
Extensive experience in developing ligand binding assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, AlphaLISA, Simple Plex, Luminex).
Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using software tools (e.g., Softmax Pro, Gen5, MSD Workbench, Excel).
Experience in experimental design and method development (e.g., 96-well plate map layouts).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced setting with frequently shifting priorities.
