Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our team at Tilt. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading all finance efforts and working closely with the leadership team to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial budgeting and forecasting processes to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans to meet and beat company objectives.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to identify key business trends and present actual vs. forecast variances to the business.
  • Enhance and expand company KPI dashboards to provide business leaders with the data they need to make informed decisions.
  • Partner with the Sales organization to establish sales plans, quotas, and commission plans.
  • Work with the accounting team to ensure timely and complete monthly close processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective investors.
  • Assist in the creation of reimagined financial reporting packages and board presentations.
  • Lead strategic planning decisions in areas of pricing, capital financing, and new product line or market opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor accounting and FP&A teammates.
  • Engage with partners in areas of banking, insurance, and tax.
  • Oversee cap table and stock administration.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of leading a top-notch finance organization, including accounting and FP&A teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or MBA with minimum 10+ years of FP&A related experience and at least 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of SAAS KPI/metrics, setting annual budgets, uncovering trends, and assessing business risk.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to make sound business decisions leveraging data analysis.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, ability to integrate diverse inputs, encourage innovation, and challenge the status quo.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, building, developing, coaching, and retaining a motivated, high-performing team.
  • High levels of empathy and ability to connect deeply with Tilt's mission.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and ability to learn software quickly.
  • Experience working with a startup and/or with a B2B SaaS business.

Total Compensation:

The projected annual salary range is $210,000 - $250,000 USD, plus stock options (ISOs). Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k with match, $100 monthly to spend on 'What Matters Most', and Responsible Time Off.
