The International Education Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing global teacher exchanges, educational programs, and cultural initiatives. They are enthusiastic, quick to learn, and a valuable team member. Responsible for being the main point of contact for international teachers at Tulsa Public Schools, the coordinator handles recruitment, interviews, visa paperwork, teacher certification transfers, and provides support for the teachers' transition to the district.

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education or a related field like international studies, cultural exchange, or business administration
  • Experience:


• Two years of experience in international relations, customer service, or a related field


• Experience working with international individuals, especially non-native English speakers


• Background in project management with skills in recruitment, group organization, communication, and financial analysis

  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite


• Familiar with human resources, employment, and legal processes in educational environments


• Ability to handle employee relations matters effectively
