Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bench Mechanic to join our team at TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for checking and repairing Aircraft Heat Exchangers and/or Aircraft Oil Cooler structural parts. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, mechanical ability, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of a team lead and/or supervisor to ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance
  • Coordinate work with superiors to meet daily production targets and expectations
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Test units to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Cut up and debur parts to prepare them for repair
  • Repair units to ensure they are safe and functional
  • Detail units to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Prepare units for sand blasting and/or painting
  • Final testing to ensure units meet quality standards
  • Inspect units to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Document work and work orders
  • Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Mechanical ability with proven experience as an assembler
  • Ability to work 6:30 am to 3:00 pm during training period
  • Ability to work second shift hours of 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm after training period
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends
  • Maintain a high level of focus for long periods of time
  • Be a team player, as all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers
