Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Bench Mechanic to join our team at TAT Limco in Tulsa, OK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for checking and repairing Aircraft Heat Exchangers and/or Aircraft Oil Cooler structural parts. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, mechanical ability, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities- Work under the supervision of a team lead and/or supervisor to ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance
- Coordinate work with superiors to meet daily production targets and expectations
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Test units to ensure they meet quality standards
- Cut up and debur parts to prepare them for repair
- Repair units to ensure they are safe and functional
- Detail units to ensure they meet quality standards
- Prepare units for sand blasting and/or painting
- Final testing to ensure units meet quality standards
- Inspect units to ensure they meet quality standards
- Document work and work orders
- Perform additional duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Mechanical ability with proven experience as an assembler
- Ability to work 6:30 am to 3:00 pm during training period
- Ability to work second shift hours of 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm after training period
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends
- Maintain a high level of focus for long periods of time
- Be a team player, as all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers
