Training Evaluation Specialist

Job Summary:

The Training Evaluation Specialist will provide support for the creation, distribution, compilation, analysis, and reporting of all evaluations in accordance with Training and Performance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct qualitative analysis and data entry for write-in survey comments from level I evaluations
  • Create, distribute, compile, analyze, and report all Level I, II, and III evaluations
  • Compile qualitative and quantitative data for analysis and formal reporting of Evaluation Reviews
  • Collaborate with Instructional Systems Designers, Instructors/Subject Matter Experts, and Program Managers to develop/revise Level I, II, and III evaluations
  • Manage training publication requests, including revisions, funding procurement, review of proofs, and receipt of completed orders
  • Track Program Office equipment purchase requests
  • Monitor the Program Office budget to ensure availability of adequate funds for spending
  • Ensure compliance with FLETA accreditation requirements for the Program Office
  • Provide weekly updates of activities to the Curriculum Manager
  • Occasional local travel may be required

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree, preferably in instructional technology or a related subject, together with one (1) year of relevant work experience, preferably in a training environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of academic accreditation processes
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in training and course development
  • Demonstrated experience using the Instructional Systems Design Model
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and design skills to develop training course materials
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Proficient in SharePoint
  • Experience with a test authoring management system such as Scantron
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

Security Clearance:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance
