At Performance Contracting, we are committed to excellence in construction management. We are seeking a skilled **Senior Project Engineer** to join our team in Carmel, IN.

Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated individual with 4-7 years of experience in construction management to lead our projects in the Indianapolis area.
  • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Labor control on assigned projects
  • Prepare RFI's and submittals
  • Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
  • Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
  • Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
  • Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-7 years' experience in construction management is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Construction Science or related discipline, or comparable work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
  • Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Works well under pressure and deadline.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
