Job Title:

Project Engineer

About the Role:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in all phases of construction, ensuring that all work is done in compliance with OSHA regulations. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage administrative duties, including document control, RFI reports, and construction field operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases of construction, including preconstruction tasks such as estimating and quantification.
  • Review and understand subcontract documents as they apply to assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Notify management of significant project events, such as project successes, issues, injuries, or potential losses/claims.
  • Work with owners/client to provide updates, obtain approvals, and complete change orders for scope of work revisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, red line transfers, and correspondence.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, with at least 1 year of experience working in commercial or multifamily construction. You should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
