Job Description

HACE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Leadership Programs to lead the development and implementation of our national leadership programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, leadership development, and nonprofit management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead all program logistics, including venue and speaker identification, speaker prep, communication and outreach to program participants, program events, and program implementation.
  • Supervise and oversee the work of 1-2 direct staff reports, and 10-25 program consultants and speakers, ensuring successful program delivery and experience for participants.
  • Lead program content development, curriculum design, and agenda setting to ensure we are continually iterating our programming to create maximum impact and value for participants.
  • Work with leadership programs corporate partners to ensure engagement and smooth delivery of program and relevant events, via conference calls, meetings, events, etc.
  • Analyze and report qualitative and quantitative feedback from participants to identify successes and lessons learned, and to make program adjustments.
  • Develop new content for customized programs as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, education, psychology, and/or related field; minimum of 5+ years of nonprofit management, program management, program curriculum delivery and development, leadership development, and professional/workforce development.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Career Coaching and/or Career development experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Program budget development and oversight experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office 365, Monday.com CRM and/or Hubspot or willingness to learn.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Excels at operating in a fast-paced, community environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing customer relationships and community programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter, independent, and entrepreneurial.
  • Experience in marketing or sales-related activities.
  • Passionate about empowering individuals and creating more inclusive, diverse organizations.
  • Proven ability in handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with minimal direction, entrepreneurial, proactive spirit, like to build things.
  • Seek perspectives from and contribute to considerations of colleagues in other areas of responsibility such as sales, programs, marketing, and organizational strategy.
  • Have experience working closely with senior leadership and executives.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills, with strong project management and execution skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with online application tools and social media.
  • Will travel as needed, up to 30%-40% of the time, nationwide, when not in virtual programming.
