Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. As a Primary Care Provider for youth, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the physical and psychosocial status of youth through interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe drugs, devices, and immunizing agents as needed.
  • Perform health examinations in accordance with practice agreement and protocols.
  • Collaborate with licensed physicians to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Family Health Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
  • Valid New York State license and registration.
  • One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or a title eligible for 70.1 transfer.
