Role Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time Office Support Specialist for our Mental Health Clinic. The Office Support Specialist will be responsible for performing essential administrative and clerical tasks, welcoming clients, managing data entry, and procuring supplies.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling, and confirming appointments, as well as scanning and filing documents to support the multidisciplinary team in office operations.
- Welcome and engage with clients, visitors, and referral sources.
- Conduct electronic data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Assist supervisory personnel with necessary statistical data collection and reporting.
- Support the operation of office technology, including phones, computers, copiers/scanners, and fax machines.
- Help monitor expenses related to petty cash and other budgets.
- Assist in completing insurance documentation, including prior authorizations for treatment.
- Contribute to a positive and productive workplace atmosphere.
- Provide coverage at alternate locations as required.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and external partners to achieve organizational goals.
- Collaborate effectively with others to set objectives, resolve issues, and make informed decisions.
- Work alongside the Office Manager to prioritize tasks, develop work schedules, track progress, and manage details, data, and activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an office environment is required.
Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, is essential.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Flexibility in scheduling for office coverage is required.
Physical Requirements
This role involves prolonged periods of sitting.
Some light lifting may be necessary.
