Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to adults and children with diverse mental health diagnoses in a clinic setting.
- Deliver services in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and linguistically competent manner.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in our electronic medical record system.
- Communicate effectively with referral sources, care coordination providers, and family members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate linkage to community resources and facilitate discharge planning to support clients' long-term well-being.
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure high-quality service delivery and stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Provide crisis intervention services during scheduled work hours as needed.
- Identify and recommend additional referrals as necessary to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Master's degree in social work (MSW) required.
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or limited permit required.
- At least one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting, with clinic experience preferred.
- Prior experience diagnosing using the DSM-5 and implementing behavioral/therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
- Valid and clean New York State driver's license required.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
