About the Role

At Alcoa, we're committed to transforming raw potential into real progress. As a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainability with world-changing innovations and low-carbon technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and collect data for further analysis
  • Lead safety pre-job reviews and observations of work completed on shift
  • Improve the efficiency and quality of work assigned to their workforce
  • Submit accurate reports of work execution activities
  • Coordinate company policies and maintain close liaison with production, support groups, and other supervisors
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 2 years of experience in heavy industry and performing maintenance/troubleshooting on rotating equipment
  • Confirmed experience troubleshooting PLCs and hydraulic/pneumatic circuits
  • Experience using a CMMS and applying process data to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Proven understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and material conveying systems
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, codes, and standards
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work on other shifts and/or come in early or stay late as needed
