Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Field Engineer to join our team at UL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting safety and non-safety certification inspections, audits of quality systems, and field evaluations in accordance with performance standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with UL requirements
  • Analyze and evaluate examination and test results to determine compliance
  • Use technical judgment to determine the impact of noncompliance variations on the continued application of the UL Mark
  • Communicate with manufacturers, customers, and authorities to conduct inspections and resolve issues
  • Provide information on UL policies and procedures, and promote the benefits of our services
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-year technical degree with 2 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or focus in Environmental Science or related field preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and client-interfacing skills
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally up to 40%
  • Lift at least 40 pounds and work in confined spaces
