Job Title: Field Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to assist in the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision. The successful candidate will perform quantity calculations, assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages, and participate in jobsite safety reviews and toolbox meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
  • Perform quantity calculations and determine percentage of completed/installed materials and work
  • Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages
  • Participate in jobsite safety reviews and toolbox meetings
  • Order and schedule material deliveries
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups on the jobsite
  • Assist in the supervision of field operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Ability to travel and/or relocate as needed
  • 0 – 2 years of construction field engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of reading engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site
