Job Title: Registered Nurse Med Surg / Telemetry

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Wailuku, Hawaii.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Med Surg / Telemetry unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care and services to patients and their families, while also providing direction to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistive personnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care and services to patients and their families
  • Direct and delegate nursing care to LPNs and nursing assistive personnel
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver care and make decisions
  • Perform tasks requiring nursing knowledge, judgment, and skills
  • Teach LPNs and nursing assistive personnel special tasks of nursing care
  • Verify staff competency to perform special tasks of nursing care
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • License, Certification, Registration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, change management, decision making, detail oriented, customer service, influence, interpersonal relations, oral communication, prioritization, problem solving, quality management, results orientation, system thinking, teamwork, time management, written communication competencies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with electronic medical records
  • Staff Nurse; 36Hrs, Night, Mixed Medsurg/Tele Unit 4, Mmmc
