Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee daily operations of 3PL warehouse partners, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • SAP Order Entry: Manage SAP order entry process, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to optimize warehouse efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Manage cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and customer service to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of warehouse and logistics, procurement, and customer service personnel, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in all warehouse and logistics activities.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve accuracy, reduce lead times, and minimize operational costs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on 3PL warehouse management.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP order entry and inventory management system.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and optimize warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lean and Six Sigma: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Supply Chain Software: Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other supply chain software.
