Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for running a profitable and efficient parts department, managing inventory, staffing, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts. As a leader, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the department's operating budget and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Maintain a balanced inventory in line with manufacturer requirements and customer demand.
  • Implement pricing strategies that ensure profitability while maintaining customer loyalty.
  • Manage department staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer parts and warranty policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the service department and wholesale accounts to ensure proper inventory availability.
  • Track and review sales, costs, and stock to meet monthly budget benchmarks.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve department efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in automotive parts management (dealership experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership ability with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficient in managing inventory and utilizing pricing strategies for maximum profit.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members, vendors, and manufacturers.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Proven track record of achieving departmental goals and driving business success.
