About the Job

The Industrial Portfolio Manager will be responsible for leading a team of property management professionals in managing a diverse portfolio of industrial properties. This is an exciting opportunity to join First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc., a leading owner and operator of industrial real estate.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee the technical, operational, and financial management of the portfolio, ensuring that properties are maintained in good condition and that financial performance is optimized. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of property managers to achieve business objectives and ensure excellent customer service;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve property operations and drive financial performance;
  • Managing budgets and forecasts, including preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts;
  • Coordinating with regional offices and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication;
  • Conducting site visits to monitor property conditions and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Collaborating with the leasing team to develop and implement leasing strategies that maximize revenue growth;
  • Managing tenant relationships and resolving issues promptly and professionally;
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management on portfolio performance and key metrics;
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and opportunities within the portfolio.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial real estate sector;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously;
  • Familiarity with accounting software and systems, including budgeting and forecasting tools;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per year, plus bonus potential based on individual and company performance.
