Job Summary:The Associate Relationship Manager will sit at the center of our team, supporting our relationship managers by creating, leading, and executing critical business processes and projects. You'll be proactive and possess a good conceptual understanding of payment processing in the e-commerce ecosystem.
Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day business support to key Payment Partnership Relationships globally, maintaining oversight of operational and commercial activities as they relate to our acquiring and/or processing partners.
- Identify, own, and manage issues or opportunities related to our acquiring and/or processing activities.
- Gather inputs internally and externally and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on creation and execution of partner strategy.
- Develop and execute programs/projects with our global partners to further PayPal's strategic goals and overall positioning in key verticals and markets.
- Quarterback engagements with our largest partners to ensure we are presenting a clear and cohesive offering to our stakeholders.
- Maintain a pulse on the financial health of the processing business - highlight key metrics and call out relevant trends.
- 6+ years of experience working within the payments industry, ideally in a fast-moving and e-commerce-oriented company.
- Deep conceptual payment processing knowledge and key technologies employed in e-commerce flow.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence outcomes in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Experience building and managing relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors.
- Effective and self-sufficient with the ability to operate comfortably and independently within a complex global environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Finance.
- MBA, Master's degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.
