Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Operations Management

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Operations Management to join our faculty at San Jose State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management, including foundational and advanced levels.
- Contribute to the development of our curriculum, including course design and assessment.
- Advise students and mentor student clubs.
- Participate in shared governance, including department, college, and university committees.
- Organize classes within the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).
- Doctorate from an accredited university and academic qualification under AACSB standards.
- Concrete evidence of research publications or strong potential for research publications in the area related to the position.
- Ability to work in a collegial atmosphere as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a socially and economically diverse student population.
- Commitment to teaching excellence.
- Ability to interact effectively with the Silicon Valley business community.
- Pragmatic teaching applications, ideally enhanced by industry experience.
