About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Manager to join our team at Acosta Group. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' sales responsibilities and executing our mutual business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support Business Partners in developing sales presentations, category reviews, and tactical communication plans.
  • Track key metrics, plan promotions, and conduct online content audits to ensure sales performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and administrative resources to clients.
  • Plan and execute administrative tasks, including item and vendor information maintenance, vendor income and chargeback research, and retail service activity reporting.
  • Perform e-commerce execution responsibilities, such as maintaining product information, identifying digital content opportunities, and reporting and presenting digital ad results.
  • Develop and maintain product lists, communicate retail priorities, and develop post-activity reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • One plus years of marketing, sales, or sales support experience.
  • Sales skills, including understanding the sales process, contract paperwork, and client promotion systems.
  • Presentation skills, including preparation, delivery, and handling questions.
  • Negotiation skills, including strategy development and tactical technique.
  • Marketing/Analytical skills, including accessing and interpreting IRI/AC Nielsen data, post-promotion analysis, and category management.
  • Finance skills, including creating profit and volume strategies and understanding financial statements.
  • Logistics skills, including knowledge of order processing, inventory tracking, client, and customer distribution methods.
