Position Overview

This is a direct hire opportunity that comes with a comprehensive benefits package. As a Construction Equipment Technician, your primary duties will include diagnosing and repairing a variety of machinery, including but not limited to forklifts, excavators, compactors, crushers, screens, and dump trucks. This position requires fieldwork, and candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record evaluation. Your skills in managing heavy-duty construction machinery will be essential for maintaining their optimal operation. Collaborating with clients and team members to identify and resolve equipment challenges will be a vital aspect of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity as a Construction Equipment Technician
  • Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery
  • Proficiency in using both hand and power tools
  • Adept at reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Physical endurance and capability to lift heavy machinery as required
