- Drive safely between CEMEX facilities and construction sites to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Communicate effectively with CEMEX Ready-Mix Operations, Maintenance, Quality Control, and Chemical Admixtures personnel to ensure seamless operations.
- Order and maintain inventory of necessary tools and replacement equipment to support equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are kept clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Meet or exceed company safety standards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of our operations team.
- 3-5 years of service experience in a related field (technical degree could be substituted for 2 years of experience).
- High School diploma required.
- Strong electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and troubleshooting diagnostic skills to support equipment operation and maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to ensure effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Computer literacy is required to support equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English (bilingual a plus).
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors.
- Must wear protective equipment while at CEMEX locations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment.
- Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.
