Representative Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Representative Equipment Technician to join our team at CEMEX USA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our admixtures equipment, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and maintain admixtures dispensing and related equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate dosage and minimize waste
- Perform plumbing and electrical labor activities as required
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Drive safely between CEMEX facilities and construction sites
- Communicate effectively with CEMEX Ready-Mix Operations, Maintenance, Quality Control, and Chemical Admixtures personnel
- Order and maintain inventory of necessary tools and replacement equipment
- Ensure all equipment and vehicles are clean and organized
- Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations
- Wear proper safety equipment at all times
- Meet or exceed company safety standards
- 3-5 years of service experience (Technical degree could be substituted for 2 years-related experience)
- High School diploma required
- Strong electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and troubleshooting diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literacy required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Bilingual a plus
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors
- Must wear protective equipment at all times
- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
- Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
