About the Role

DSG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plumbing & HVAC Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Burnsville, MN. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for assisting customers at the City Desk with order placement and fulfillment, as well as assisting in all aspects of warehouse duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers at the City Desk
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and provide technical support
  • Write and fill orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Generate customer quotations and follow up as necessary
  • Work with other sales team members to resolve customer service issues
  • Restock the counter area and monitor product inventory
  • Maintain a clean and appealing counter display area
  • Identify and encourage the sale of additional products as applicable
Requirements
  • Product and technical knowledge acquired through two or more years of college or technical school, or 3-5 years of field experience in residential/commercial application of plumbing and/or HVAC products
  • Excellent relationship building skills and outstanding interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Superior problem solving, project management, and analytical skills
  • High proficiency with computers and experience in Eclipse or other ERP systems preferred
