Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Universal Pediatrics, Inc. as a Pediatric Home Health Nurse. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children and young adults with medical needs and chronic conditions in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments, administer medications, and provide therapies, treatments, and interventions as scheduled in accordance with the plan of care and physician's orders.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including families, to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education and support to clients and families to promote independence and self-management.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to facilitate trust and open communication.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation through our electronic medical record system.
Requirements
  • Active RN or LPN licensure, without restrictions.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance coverage.
  • CPR certification required, but may be obtained after hire.
  • COVID-19 vaccine compliance.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
