Position Overview:
The Palliative Care Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering nursing services to patients facing terminal illnesses. This position involves offering support and understanding to families during home care situations and times of grief. The nurse will collaborate with the hospice team to ensure high-quality hospice care is provided.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
  • Capability to supervise staff effectively
  • Responsive to crises outside of hospital settings
  • Acceptance and adaptability to diverse social, cultural, and religious backgrounds
  • Completion of a hospice training program
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice care
  • Active patient interaction within the last three years is preferred

Job Types:

Compensation:
$31, $75,719.00 annually
