Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Watertown, WI. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial production and processing machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose machinery malfunctions; repair or replace defective equipment as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment.
- Test and repair production equipment and machinery, and report any issues to appropriate personnel.
- Assemble and install equipment using hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as welders, hoists, drills, and wrenches.
- Utilize knowledge of milling machines, brake presses, drill presses, and general machine shop equipment.
- Repair machinery such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and other tools as required.
- Maintain safety standards and address environmental issues.
- Additional duties may include janitorial tasks, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, and carpentry.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; Associate's degree from a Technical College preferred.
- Apprenticeship or Journeyman experience is a plus.
- 3-5+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and components.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a dedication to safety.
