Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational activities to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the team by overseeing hiring, training, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Develop strategies for process enhancements and optimize operational systems.
  • Supervise the estimating and bidding phases for assigned projects.
  • Create and implement project schedules, adapting as necessary to meet evolving requirements.
  • Identify necessary resources and delegate responsibilities accordingly.
  • Prepare and adjust pricing for project-related expenses.
  • Handle daily operational aspects of projects and their scopes.
  • Effectively manage project budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings, manage permits, and oversee punch list items.
  • Apply company methodologies and project standards consistently.
  • Supervise a team of technicians, tracking hours and reporting expenses weekly.
  • Ensure all team members complete site-specific training (e.g., forklift and safety certifications).

  • Mitigate company risk and exposure throughout project lifecycles.
  • Verify compliance with site-specific training requirements for all employees.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Operations Manager or similar role for at least 5 years.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of organizational effectiveness and operational management.
  • Proficient in business and financial principles.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, background check, and drug test results.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and basic business mathematics.
  • Experienced in creating, maintaining, and communicating schedules.
  • Adept at completing various forms, contracts, and spreadsheets.
  • Capable of critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Exhibit good judgment and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
