Job Title: Installation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Houston Equipment Install Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation of automotive and heavy-duty shop equipment, ensuring adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff, including hiring, training, and quality assurance programs
  • Strategize process improvement and optimize operational management systems
  • Create and execute project work plans, adjusting to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Price and prepare additional pricing on projects
  • Manage project budgeting and forecasting
  • Attend pre-construction meetings, pull permits, and manage punch lists
  • Apply company methodology and project standards
  • Manage a team of technicians, tracking hours and reporting expenses
  • Ensure employees meet site-specific training requirements
  • Minimize company exposure and risk on projects

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Proficient with business and financial principles
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Mechanical background and ability to read blueprints
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and basic business math
  • Well-versed in creating, maintaining, and communicating schedules
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen prior to hiring.
