About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating highly scalable systems that power our customers' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features and systems that meet our customers' needs
  • Collaborate with senior and principal engineers to ensure system components meet design and implementation requirements
  • Perform on-call duty to ensure system stability and respond to issues in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 2+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix systems
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
