Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Cost Analyst/Estimator to join our team at Abacus Technology Corporation. As a key member of our estimating and budgeting team, you will provide critical support for Robins AFB projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cost estimation models to analyze management problems and provide advice on alternative solutions.
  • Analyze contractor financial data using Earned Value Management (EVM) measures to determine program viability.
  • Support analytical processes, including data collection, reduction, and display, to inform cost estimation and budgeting decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of experience in cost analysis and estimation, with at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, or additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency in applying scientific inquiry and analysis methods to military weapons programs.
  • Familiarity with cost estimating outputs and their impact on program costs.
  • Ability to analyze all elements affecting costs for a project of limited scope.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with government stakeholders and program management.
