About the Role

Graham Windham is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team in the Family Treatment/Rehabilitation Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical assessments, short-term therapy, and case planning services to families at risk of removal of children to foster care due to neglect and abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in Clinical Diagnostic Team (CDT) meetings and ensure that clinical decisions meet best case practice standards as well as contractual requirements.
  • Provide short-term therapy for families as needed.
  • Assess and provide diagnosis for clients as needed.
  • Develop treatment plans and service delivery as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide chemical dependency expertise and support to staff.
  • Connect clients to providers and follow up with them.
  • Assist clients to organize their medication and discuss side effects and other concerning factors.
  • Coordinate crisis and safety planning with case planners and families with mental health issues.
  • Conduct joint home visits with case planners.
  • Conduct all intakes for families.
  • Comply and follow with Graham's and Children's Services policies and standards.
  • Coordinate and conduct groups.
  • Provide trainings for staff and consult on high-risk cases.
  • Attend trainings and staff meetings for further development.
  • Assist with coverage of cases during staff vacancies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Social Services or a related field.
  • Mental Health License and LCSW with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults and children with mental health illness is preferred.
  • Mental Health License and LMSW with a minimum of 5 years of experience in working with a mental illness.
  • CASAC certification and minimum three years experience working with substance abuse parents and their children is preferred.
  • Excellent assessment skills.
  • Experience providing mental health counseling to adults, adolescents and children.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Passion for children and families and a strong connection to the community.
  • Spanish highly preferred.
