Description

Block Institute's Article 16 Clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to individuals with cognitive, physical, emotional, and/or developmental disabilities. We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans that promote habilitative growth and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs tailored to individual needs and goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on occupational therapy best practices.
  • Monitor and record progress of service recipients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality care and compliance with agency policies.


Qualifications

Qualifications

New York State Occupational Therapy License
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience working with the Developmentally Disabled population preferred
