Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a welcoming and engaging classroom environment for children to learn, play, and thrive.
  • Utilize a growth mindset to cultivate young minds and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
  • Implement our unique L.E.A.P. Curriculum, catering to the individual needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  • Create a safe and nurturing atmosphere where children can explore and learn.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's experiences and accomplishments through various channels.
  • Contribute to the success of the center by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and engagement objectives.
  • Foster relationships with families and colleagues to create a vibrant environment where play and learning seamlessly integrate.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 credits in Child Growth and Development with ECE for fully qualified positions.
  • Preferred: 6 months of professional teaching experience.
  • Completion of the provided CARES course within 6 months of employment is required for all newly hired assistant educators.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific guidelines for the role.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekend shifts
