Role and Responsibilities

As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging activities that promote language, social-emotional, and motor skills development.
  • Lesson Planning: Create lesson plans aligned with California Preschool Curriculum Framework standards, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment, facilitating both individual and group learning experiences.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with childcare licensing requirements, conducting regular safety checks and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Parent Communication: Keep accurate records of children's progress and conduct regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss developmental milestones.
Qualifications

We seek candidates who are not only qualified but also embody our values of teamwork, community, and leadership. The following qualifications are essential:

  • At least 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, including core classes.
  • A valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Experience in a licensed childcare setting is preferred.
