Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment for young learners.
  • Utilize a growth mindset to cultivate young minds and ignite a passion for education.
  • Execute our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, engaging with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a manner tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive through play and learning.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's experiences and accomplishments through various channels.
  • Contribute to the center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet goals related to enrollment and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with families and colleagues, creating a vibrant environment where play and learning coexist harmoniously.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 credits in Child Growth and Development for fully qualified positions.
  • Preferred: 6 months of professional teaching experience.
  • Completion of the provided CARES course within 6 months of employment is required for all newly hired assistant educators.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is preferred.
  • Must comply with state-specific guidelines for the role.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekend shifts
