Navy Federal Credit Union is a dynamic and customer-focused financial institution that offers a wide range of products and services to its members. As a Member Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and support to our customers.

About the Role

This part-time position is available at our Richmond Hill, GA branch and requires a strong understanding of financial products and services. You will be responsible for analyzing and resolving member account discrepancies, assisting with loan applications, and providing expert advice on Navy Federal's offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve complex member account issues under supervision
  • Assist members with submitting loan applications and provide product information
  • Counsel current and prospective members on Navy Federal's products and services
  • Ensure accurate handling of cash and negotiable instruments
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and increase penetration
  • Perform platform banking functions and assist lower-level team members
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and other regulations related to financial products and services

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of savings and checking products, accounts, and services
  • Effective communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and navigate multiple screens and PC applications
