This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in human resources management. As a Human Resources Specialist III, you will be responsible for administering various human resources management programs, including recruitment, selection, compensation, classification, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:- Screen applications and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Maintain CAPPS Recruit and ensure all applicants and candidates are moved through the hiring process
- Work with program areas to prepare and revise job descriptions, job postings, and conduct job analysis
- Perform recruitment activities for posted positions using search engines and social media platforms
- Review and track performance evaluations
- Process personnel actions and requisition forms
- Reconcile data between various databases
- Provide advice to employees and management on human resource issues, rules, and policies
- Assist with separation meetings and calculate leave and benefits for employees
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in business, public administration, human resource management, management, or a related field
- Three years of experience in human resources, including recruitment, screening, onboarding new hires, or customer service in a human resources environment
- Education and experience relevant to position requirements may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis
- Experience screening applications or extending offers of employment
- Experience with onboarding new hires
- Proficiency with CAPPS Recruit, Oracle, and/or Peoplesoft
- Experience with electronic filing, record keeping, and administrative experience
- Experience with SharePoint or web content management system
- Recent experience with Microsoft Office Suite
